This was a two phase project approach by the City of Guelph. First in 2021, we reconstructed a collapsing 1050mm sanitary sewer main through the Speed River park. As it’s a highly traveled park in Guelph, the city wanted a concrete spillway and armour stone feature installed to replace the decaying retaining wall installed some 50 years ago. The second phase of the 1050mm sanitary sewer repair was putting up protection silt fence, installing two large sanitary manholes, setting up a by-pass pumping station, repairing the 1050mm sanitary sewer and then, installing armour stone along the spillway.
