In the early days, the company focus was on municipal and highway structures. Culvert and bridge construction also involved small road reconstruction jobs, curb & sidewalk and sewer installations. The early seventies saw a shift away from structures and a concerted effort on curb & sidewalk installation, with an interest in reconstruction and sewer and watermain. In the early eighties we added asphalt milling and concrete scarifying to our construction activities. A slow progression was made to enchance our sewer and watermain sector to enable the company to compete on larger reconstructions, and raw land servicing. Today J. G. Goetz Construction Limited is a medium sized sewer and watermain contractor.
We offer expertise in raw land servicing and road reconstructions in a municipal setting. We actively tender projects within a 40 mile radius of Guelph. In addition, we perform asphalt milling and concrete scarifying for the municipal and highway sector, province wide. With over 50 years invested in many facets of heavy civil contracting, we have the people, equipment, and experience to provide developers and municipalities well managed projects, with the quality and in the expected time frame.
